Cause and effect

Creating wealth is a very noble thing. These days, it is very fashionable for many to say that I am not money minded and all that. In reality, a person who loves to create wealth is not exactly money minded. He may end up making money too but that is not his end goal. His or her primary goal is to create wealth, which is adding value. Stealing wealth in any form is what a money minded person will do. That is wrong. Stealing other's ideas or other people's credit is also equivalent to stealing their wealth.

Ability to add value to society is the cause. Wealth is the effect.

Similarly, a loving mind is the cause for many great relationships. Relationship is just the effect. Just because there are some troubles in relationship, it does not mean that love is gone. Love is more an internal feeling. Being good is love. Feeling good is love.

Focus on causes and not on effects. We have control over causes only. We can only improve our ability to add value or we can become better loving individuals.  If we do that, wealth and relationships will chase us. When we chase wealth and relationships, they run away from us.
